FAQs

How to prepare for your consultation?

SKIN: A great way to prepare for your appointment is to come with a clean canvas. Have your face washed and exfoliated before your appointment. If SPF is preferred, please use a light, low SPF. The artist will provide facial moisturizer. Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities you have toward any particular products so that we may avoid them during your session.


HAIR: Hair should be washed and dried the night before your appointment. Day old hair tends to work the best for keeping long lasting styles. Extremely curly hair should be straighten the day before the appointment. Products may be used prior- please consult with the artist first.


ATTIRE: Please come with a white button-down or a white tank top. 


Our studio is located in a high traffic area. Parking may be limited and it is advise to come 20 minutes early to look for parking. Both metered and residential parking is available. Meters take quarters/ credit card. Downloading the  Pay-Pay-Phone app is recommended. Please come 5 minutes early. Appointments are canceled if clients are more than 20 minutes late. 


Payment is accepted by cash, check, credit card, and PayPal.


Although SERVICE fees do not include gratuity they are greatly appreciated.

How to prepare for your wedding day?

SKIN: Please have your skin washed and exfoliated before the artist(s) arrive. 

*Thinking about incorporating facials to your skin regiment? Facials are a great way to prepare your skin for the big day. Please start a facial regiment 1-2 months out. The last facial should be 1 week out from your wedding date to ensure a calm, clean canvas, and also to avoid blemishes and breakouts.

HAIR: Hair should be washed and dried the night before your appointment. Day old hair tends to work the best for keeping long lasting styles. Extremely curly hair should be straighten the day before the appointment. Products may be used prior- please consult with the artist first. Chemical services such as digital perms, color, and permanent straightening should be done 1-2 weeks from your wedding day. Please advise the artist about any plans or desires to trim hair before the wedding day. 


SET-UP: Chairs and table space are required. Tables are to be cleared and chairs easily accessible before the artist(s) arrive.


CALL TIME: Expect artist(s) to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the service start time to set up.  Once booked, a timeline will be sent out. Please make sure everyone is ready 15 minutes before their call time. Have pictures of normal, everyday makeup as well as inspiration photos of both hair and makeup to show the artist(s).
